Recruitment Recap: 'Secrets of the AST Sisterhood'

Last September over 900 girls lined up outside JMU's Greek Row to participate in its annual fall recruitment.  After five days of chanting, small talk, and wearing painful yet gorgeous heels, the Psi chapter accepted over 80 potential new members (PNM's) into their beloved sisterhood.  Led by Recruitment chair Ashley Smith ('12) and Assistant Recruitment chair Sydney Talbot ('13), the chapter greeted girls wearing playful pink and yellow, sunflowers, and pearls to accompany their theme "Secrets of the AST Sisterhood" - a spin on the 2002 Sandra Bullock flick "Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood."

Sydney Talbot and new Assistant Recruitment chair Laura Knopp ('14) have been planning some exciting things for this fall.  2012 recruitment can not come fast enough (September 6-11!).  But if one thing's for sure, it's that the Psi's can not WAIT to get more amazing new members!!!
